The fifth forum on Internet Governance will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania 14-17 September 2010, under the theme "IGF 2010 - Developing the future together".

This forum is an opportunity for meeting and discussion on crucial issues concerning the governance of the Internet and planned public policies in this direction. The forum will highlight issues related to governance of the Internet as the sustainability, robustness, security, stability and development of the Internet.

The IGF is to promote open dialogue and exchange of ideas, linking the different types of sessions, to create an environment conducive to sharing best practices and experiences, to listen, to dialogue and learn to identify key themes that will, in future, benefit from the multilateral approach of the IGF.

The IGF welcomes legal entities and individuals working in various areas in the world. The meeting was open to all organizations accredited to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and other institutions and individuals recognized for their expertise and experiences in the issues of governance Internet.

The fifth edition of the forum will discuss the following topics: availability management, security, transparency and protection of privacy, access and diversity of Internet governance for development; evaluation of governance of the Internet as a key for the future and emerging topics such as cloud computing.
